Dr. Artis is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She has over 20 years of experience in the dental field. Ten of those years were dedicated to Dental Hygiene before deciding to take the step to become a dentist and ultimately her own boss. She is committed to quality service, quality care and being a lifelong student in the art and science of dentistry.
She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery; University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business/Marketing; and Guilford Technical Community College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Her life professionally is dedicated to volunteering with several local organizations, and mentoring young people who are particularly interested in the dental profession. Personally, she has committed her life to loving her husband (Tony) of 27 years and their two children (James-Anthony and Joi), and assisting her husband in the ministry.
In her free time, Dr. Artis enjoys reading a good book, having a good laugh, singing, riding roller coasters, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
